Easier second time around - Ince

Paul Ince insists going back to stadium:mk to work with players he managed in his previous spell as Dons boss makes his job a bit easier.

Ince on Friday penned a two-year contract to return as manager after Roberto Di Matteo's departure for West Brom.

The former Manchester United midfielder is the club's most successful boss to date having secured the League Two title and Johnstone's Paint Trophy back in 2008 during his first stint before heading off to Blackburn.

Eight members of that squad are still with the Dons and Ince cannot wait to link up with them again. He told the club's official website: "There will be some new faces for me, which is exciting, but there will also be some old faces who will know my demands and how I work, which is always easier than having a team full of new players.

"In a way, going back to a team that is almost mine makes my job a bit easier. There are certain players I am really looking forward to working with such as Peter Leven, who was a fantastic player with Chesterfield but unfortunately it didn't work out that I would work with him"

He added: "I know how ambitious the chairman is and he knows how ambitious I am so I'm looking forward to getting down to work. I've got a nice little buzz in my stomach."
