Former Villarreal midfielders Jose Maria Cases, 23, and Edgar Chumillas Lopez, 20, will train with the Cumbrians this week and former Tottenham and Cheltenham midfielder David Hutton, 20, is also hoping to impress.

Abbott said: "We've said before this is the right time for us to bring people in and take a look at them.
