Premier League - Pav may consider Spurs stay

The Russia international looked set to leave White Hart Lane during the transfer window, but manager Harry Redknapp kept hold of him after sending Robbie Keane out on loan to Celtic.

And a recent surge in form has boosted Pavlyuchenko's confidence, winning him widespread praise and opening the door to him staying with the North London club.

"I'm not in a hurry to make decisions on my career - unlike last month, when I was sure I would leave," said the 28-year-old.

Pavlyuchenko, who has scored eight goals in his last six games, claims he has put all thoughts about his future on hold as Spurs enter the final stretch of the season with FA Cup glory and a Champions League spot well within their grasp.

"I now think only about the end of the season," he added.

"We stand a good chance of finishing in the Champions League places, so we shouldn't waste this opportunity.

"And we will fight for the FA Cup, too. So I will think about my future in May.

"And I'm not going to guess how many goals I'll score - let's count them once it's over."
