Serie A - Round-up: Roma held by Livorno

Lucarelli opened the scoring when he beat the Roma offside trap after nine minutes, only for Simone Perotta to level proceedings straight from the kick off.

Luca Toni then headed the visitors into the lead from Perotta's flick-on, but Roma were again guilty of waiting for the assistant's flag as Lucarelli beat Julio Sergio and rolled the ball into the empty net.

Livorno again switched off from the restart and Roma immediately hit back when David Pizarro drove past Rubinho from Perrotta's cut back.

It could have been worse for Livorno when Pizarro missed a penalty before the break, but the final word went to Lucarelli when he sent Sergio the wrong way from the spot to earn the Amaranto a deserved draw.

The result meant third-placed Roma only moved six points behind Internazionale, who lost 3-1 at Catania on Friday.

Milan in second can slash Inter's lead to just a point with 10 games left if they beat Chievo at home later.

Palermo stayed fourth despite a 3-2 defeat at Udinese after Juventus blew a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 with bottom side Siena in Turin.
